As an avid cyclist, I’ve taken to designing cycling kits—the jerseys and shorts we all wear on the bike. Designing apparel, especially spandex, presents many challenges to create something that keeps riders visible and safe, is flattering for many bodies, and stands out in a race. But kits must also be fun and stylish. I’ve had the pleasure of designing for many teams and groups including Sugar Beets Cycling, Skunkworks Racing, Spidermonkey Cycling, Half Acre Cycling, Morning Bird Studio, the Chicago Cyclocross Cup and more.
